  1. All of the above are great ideas, But, you all forgot the one thing that makes Chili, chili...

Add the chili powder and the different peppers like they all said.  Make sure you fry up some ground sausage if all you have is sausage links cut them open, and hamburger.  I usually use half as much hamburger compared to the sausage.  The sausage gives it a lot of flavor.

But once it is all heated and the meats are well underway of cooking

MAKE SURE YOU ADD THE DARK BEANS!!!!

What is Chili with out the beans....

    Good luck!

  2. Add ground beef, chili powder, diced tomatoes, 1 can of kidney beans (or garbanzo beans.. i'm on a garbanzo kick). Add a pinch of salt, and a pinch of sugar. Also, add come cumin as well.  Don't forget to top with diced onions and cheese!

  3. Sure!  Add chili powder and cumin to it, and as much red and black pepper as you can stand.  Thicken it w/ corn meal masa mixed w/ water.  Corn is also good in chili.

  4. Add some chilli powder, canned kidney beans, peas, corn kernels and boil it again until thick. U can add more ground beef if u wish..

  5. just do it now! not only chilli..try other spices too..especially rosmarine

  6. Add some diced tomatoes and tomato sauce. Add some cumin and chili powder. Also add some peppers for some heat, even jalapenos if you like them.

  7. If your leftovers looks mostly like a bowl of pasta, then I'd just brown a pound (or less) of hamburger, add some tomato sauce or whatever red sauce you want, then add spices:  chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, crushed red peppers, maybe a little oregano or cilantro.  Add to the pasta and stir. Microwave for a minute or two if needed.

  8. add chili/chili powder.
