Any good ideas to get this business off the ground. I know my way around computers fairly good. What do you suggest?

  1. I would say try ebay or set up a website like my dad did for his decorations he use to make...

  2. I was also going to suggest you set up a website.  Take pictures with a digital camera, etc.

Last time I wanted to buy a book from Amazon (I hadn't been to that site in a looooong time, lol!) I saw that they are now letting people "rent" space to sell items on their site too.  Amazon has a better reputation than Ebay, but I don't know what it would cost to rent space from them.

  3. Once Christmas season comes, you could make a killing on ebay.

If you want to explore in this, I suggest building an Ebay reputation. Buy small items you want/ need, and pay immediately. Positive feedbacks will follow.

Buyers don't like to bid on items from sellers with small feedback.

It'll show you as a respectable user on the site. Plus It makes selling a lot easier.

I started off as a small seller. My average income was around $60 a week.  I'm now a bronze power seller. I average $1,000.00 a month.

    Side note:

You should make your product focused on the upcoming holiday.

Even if it's St. Patty's day.

  4. An ebay shop.

Collectors will get to know you and where to go.

  5. if you show pictures w/ the questions

    you will get better results

    my suggestion is ebay.
