I making an ad i need help....?

ok so i wanna start saving up money for collage and i cant work legally yet i have to wait a year...so i decide to start somthing up like mowing ppls yard and walking there dogs ect.well i just dont know start the ad thing on the paper........please help gimme your ideas too???oh i also need help to see how much i should charge

Start by making a catchy phraze like "I mow and scoop your dog's p**p" Or something, place a picture of your self. Like the realestate agents do. Get a yellow pages book and mail your business card to everyone within a five mile radius or so. or if you're old fashioned.. come a knockin'...

You need to make an ad that will make someone look at it. This can be done with a catchy phrase, or even better a picture. Colors, and text and picture placement will help an ad stand out. You want your ad to be short and to the point. People are going to spend less than 20 seconds looking at this ad, so you need it to say it all in very few words.  

Look at examples of great ads online, it is easier to see what makes an ad great than to have someone tell you
