Question:

I married my husband in India, I am a U.S. citizen he is still in India wasn't able to come back with me.?

I am filing petition I-130 but I feel that will take some time then I am going to file k-3 visa can I sponsor him for a reception party and to meet my family. Is this at all possible?

    go move over there.. there's plenty of work there.


  2. I agree with baldyballs.   We have enough people coming here and can't even care for our own.  Go move to India and live there.

Well, India is one of the poorest countries on earth and every one of them would give there left foot to be able to move to the US.  The reason that it takes so long to process the visa is because, they know that once one family member gets in, they start to bring in the rest of the family.  Why would you leave your husband there.  You should have stayed with him.  Were the poor conditions too much for you?  I would always wonder, is it me or my US passport that he loves.  I've lived in many places around the world and have seen first hand what one will do to get to the US.  In India the female has to pay a dowry to the husbands family.  Did you have to pay this or was your passport good enough?
