  1. Gestation for a rabbit is 28-31 days, so I'd say she definitely didn't take.  Are they housed together or in separate cages?  Usually, you would put the doe into the buck's cage and leave them together for a 24-hour period of time.  This is usually enough for the rabbits to breed several times.

Why are you trying to breed?  Are you planning on raising meat rabbits?  Don't breed them just because you can - have a good reason to do it.  Are you showing and breeding purebred, pedigreed stock?  Are they going to be used as a food source?  If you think you want to breed, start learning the basics now, BEFORE there are lots of rabbits that need homes.

Do some research and learn your basics, or you're going to end up with some unwanted, useless rabbits and stressed out breeding stock.

  2. 60 days sure is long, their only supposed to be pregnant for 28-31 days.

She may be having a still Born litter, but just prepare for babies just in case.

Or is it possible, that she already gave birth, then killed the first litter, then got pregnant again?

    Consider that a possiblity.

    Keep preparing for babies.

  3. She must have not conceived as the gestation is 28-32 days. If she is pulling out hair, she may have had a "false pregnancy." For unknown reasons, sometimes does act as if they are pregnant when they are not. It is likely due to a change in hormones.

  4. a rabbits gestation is 28 to 32 days....unless she has been rebred if she is preg still she is in serious trouble!
