  1. hamsters should never be housed together after sexual maturity. they will fight to the death eventually. only put the male in with the female for a few days to mate, and otherwise keep them separate.

only mate the female about every 4 months. it takes 1 month for gestation and about 6 weeks to wean them. give her a couple of months in between each litter to recover.

also separate the babies from the mother and the males from the females at 6 weeks or you risk the mother and female babies to get pregnant from the male babies.

you can find some good pictures to s*x the hamsters online.  males have a finger width distance between their urethra and their a**s. females don't have much space between them. good luck.

  2. YES it means it isnt theyre mating time. i had a hampster who tried to bite my females tail because of that.

  3. Hamsters are cannibals. No joke, you'll want to seperate them asap.

  4. Yes, separate them now. I had a friend who's hamsters ate one another. o.O They go cannibal. It's crazy.

  5. Definatly take the male out.  After the babies are weened seperate them too.  I've had mothers eat their babies.
