  1. Hair dye can damage your eyes. You need to go to a opertomologist(sp?), and like you suggested the ER of a hospital. Your eye sight is precious and don't just do nothing!

  2. You really should see the doctor about this soon.  Hair dye can damage your eye, but I doubt you will go blind.  You may have some permanent damage, but I really hope this is not the case.

I suggest purchasing some saline solution.  I use Unisol 4 because my doctor recommended it, but any reputable brand should be ok.  Rinse your eye out with the saline solution as best you can.  It may sting at first as it rinses out whatever is in your eye.  Your eye should hopefully feel better after you rinse it out.  You may want to lay down with a cool wet washcloth over your eyes after you are finished rinsing.

Never use Visine, it contains chemicals that can actually irritate your eyes and make the sitution worse.  The red eye reducer would be the worst for your situation.  Only use water if you need to immediately rinse out your eyes and saline is not available.  Water has bacteria in it that can cause eye infections.  The person at Pearle vision who recommended water for this should be smacked around.  I know I will never go there now.

I hope everything will be ok.

  3. i would take it to an eye doctor asap.

  4. Okay, first a few questions for you.  Why on earth did you call a eyeglass place for help with your eyes?  They were probably laughing their butts off at that one.  Why would you wait that long before washing your eye out anyway?  The stuff in the dye probably got under your lid and it scratched your eye ball making it sting whenever you're putting stuff on it.  That's the only way plain water would make your eye sting.  I know you probably won't give me the 10 points but I hope you see how silly this question is and thanks for the two.
