I may possibly be going to paris for spring break, ideas?

on what to pack, what to wear(i don't want to look outdated!) im 13 so think of it that way.

take everything because these days in Paris somedays its cold and rain and somedays its sunny!

13 year old Parisian girls donh't dress all that differently than 13 year olds from any big American city. They do tend, perhaps, to wear more black and fewer very bright colors.

When traveling you need to be concerned with traveling light, being comfortable, and, in Paris in the Spring, staying dry (it will rain every other day).

You lucky girl!  Paris is absolutely wonderful!

I went to Paris in last spring and here is what the French girls are wearing:  short (hip length) trench coats, knit hats/caps, comfortable round toed slip-ons, always earrings, and scarves, scarves, scarves (learn to knot one before you arrive in Paris - don't just wrap it around your neck.)

How not to look like an American?  Don't wear ripped jeans or jeans so low your ***-crack shows,  no clunky sports shoes, no ungroomed fingernails or dirty hair, no t-shirts with messages on them.

Here's the best tip of all:  Never fail to be polite!  When you enter and leave a store in Paris you just don't walk in and look at the merchandise.  Aways say, "Bonjour, Madame (Monsieur)" when you enter and "Au revoir, merci, Madame" when you leave.  Parisians think this greeting is civilized and NECESSARY.  Learn now to say "please" "thank you" and "pardon me" in French.  If you do this, I promise you the French will treat you kindly.  I watched Americans ignore shopkeepers, dress like slobs, and refuse to speak one word or French.  No wonder they think we're barbarians...

Just the fact that you asked this question tells me your going to do just fine in Paris.  Have an absolute blast, puppylover!
