Leave it a few days in the sink, then when the mould gets too much call environmental health and they will sort it out.

If I cook, the other half washes up. If he cooks I wash up!Mostly though, we do it together!

That depends, when someone other than "you the man" serves dinner who washes up?  If it's you, then they should this time, if it's not you then don't be a jerk.. do it yourself.  Cleaning up is part of cooking.
