I have sent a message to yahoo to break up the hunting posts.  I saw that people have been sending them the same message for over a year. I too wish that they would break up the hunting section. Under hunting we get knives and assault weapons that are not used, or cannot be used for hunting: at least hunting animals. I suggest you send a message to yahoo and tell them  that they need to break hunting into catagories.

I agree. There should be a section for target shooting or firearms in general. Most of the questions in the hunting section are not even hunting related, but it's not our fault that there is no section for gun questions.

I think you are right, hunting is about guns but I want to talk about actual hunting!

Most hunters use guns.   The knowledge base about guns and shooting is the largest with hunters.   Not all target shooters hunt, but all hunters should be spending some time target shooting.  BB-guns are used to hunt little critters too.  That is how many of us started out.  

The word "Assault Rifle" is offensive to me.  Just liberal diatribe unless you are talking about select fire fully auto firearms.   I use Ar15s and AR10s to hunt animals small and large along with a growing population of hunters nation wide.  In the past 20 years, many many hunters have taken deer with their SKS "deer" rifles.  

Every new WASR-10 comes with a scope mount bracket on the side.  These firearms are nicely suited to hunt deer under 200 yards.   Even though every state prohibits hunting with machine guns, most states allow semiautomatic rifles for hunting.   Very few ban them.

Making a separate section for anything now that the site is up and running is a feat in itself, not to mention getting them to pay attention to what the hunting crowd wants.

Yahoo does not have enough subscriber interest to devote individual sections to hunting, General firearms knowledge, Target and recreational shooting, Airguns and airsoft guns, and paintball.

Go through 10 pages of hunting and separate out all the questions into each separate category.

None of 'em have many questions, do they?

Faced with such small interest in each category, Y.A. would likely eliminate one or more categories.

Probably the one with the least questions.

Be very happy they even have a hunting section, im very suprised the taboo monster didnt get em. I asked the same thing and got some pretty nasty responses in another category. Well I asked a question about the second amendment in society and culture cuz I hadnt found the hunting section yet. Pretty hostile over there. Hostile and ignorant.

They should, lot of young people are interested in this sport. A pellet or BB gun is how most of us started out.

I have to agree with you but there is no other place for gun people to post. Do you know they have a section for Bull Fighting? I mean I can imagine that more people would be down on that than people talking about their guns. Y!A is very selective in their political correctness, guns are bad but killing a bull in front of a roaring crowd is fine. Go figure, who agrees?
