  1. Good temporary repair.  Epoxy hardens and does not flex well over time.  Depending on usage, it will not keep a tight seal forever.


  2. The absolute best product for patching holes is Splash Zone.  Cures underwater, sticks to anything.  It will not fill a large hole but it will make whatever material you have to cover the hole stay put.

  3. If you have a small leak I think it will probably hold you untill your next haul out.  I'd still keep an eye on it.  I have a small leak where my swim platform is bolted on. I have it there.

  5. I would go to a marine store and ask if this mighty putty is as strong as something called "Bondo". Also if the is a big hole you might want to consider getting a hull patch.

  6. The waterproof putty patching makes it possible for a lightly damaged boat to return to port for proper repair. Yes, it will plug small holes in the hull. For holes more than 1", use a dowel.
