I messed up my grades at my local community college?

Am I going to have to apply at an out of state community college to escape my grades in order to transfer? Please help :(

Not sure what you mean by that.  Colleges ask you to send them all college transcripts, in or out of state.  You can start over at another community college and transfer from there if you do well - they'll put more weight on more recent transcripts when considering admission.  But if you 'messed up' once, what makes you think it won't happen again?
