  1. Forget it. What is going to happen is you will send money and it will disappear. The Russian mafia runs most of the marriage scams in Russia.  Your money will be gone and so will any chance of meeting or even seeing a supposed woman from Russia. What you need to do is join a group that is going to Russia for the express purpose of meeting and marrying women then bringing them home with you. A legitimate troup going to Russia or anywhere else is the only true way you will ever get your money's worth.

  2. Yes, of course she wants out of Russia.  And all the warnings you have already received are correct.  I worked in the US embassy in Moscow, and can't tell you how many American guys were scammed in exactly this way.  Sorry!!

  3. I'd suggest that you stay away. I'm not really sure why she would need your money. She can buy the ticket by herself, so go on and tell her that.

If you're sure that she would marry you, you can also buy the ticket and have it sent to her, so she doesn't have to deal with your credit card.

Finally, if you were so positive about this marriage thing, you would trust her enough. As long as i can see, you don't trust her, so why marry?

  4. Your best bet is to get over there and personally fascilitate the manuever.  Don't be fooled.  I've got buddies that went your route to get a wife.  Once they grasp a hold of the English language and figure out the laws regarding divorce and what their entitled to they become just as greedy as any average w***e.

  5. That sounds fishy to me. Did you meet her online or in person? You have a lot to think about here. If you met her online I would definitely say NO to the money.

  6. Sounds to me like you are being scammed, don't send any money unless you don't ever want to see it again.

  7. She just wants the money.  This is a common scam in Russia.  They buy plane tickets to come here and they take off in the best scenario, in the worst they actually marry you and then take off with ALL your money.

  8. I think you're being snookered.

There's actually a guy named Ivan at the other end of the emails, controlling the game.  Ivan has no neck, and his nose has been broken several times.  He reeks of vodka.  After you send $2K your "girlfriend" will get $50 and a punch in the face, and Ivan will get the rest.
