I met someone at a church conference, I didn't get his number or anything. Is it weird if I send a friendship request to him on my facebook? What do you think?

  1. no

  2. If you really want to get to know him, Facebook could be a good, casual way to do that. I went through the Facebook fandango before I started dating my current boyfriend...we met through mutual friends, I didn't get his number, but I friended him on Facebook and we corresponded for a while. As I said, he's my boyfriend now. :-)

The worst case scenario is that he rejects your friend invite. If he's just someone you met at a church conference once, I don't think that's going to be too detrimental.

  3. It really depends, it really annoys me that some people add anyone and everyone regardless, it seems some people just want the bragging rights of 1000+ friends and collect people. Even though half of them they just know of them.

Depends what your social circle is like is it an extended network or is it a group of close friends, only you can answer that, really.

I don;t mean anything offensively, just added my opinion, i always ask the other person first if I want them on my group of friends. Then add them if they agree.
