I picked a major fight with them and drove them away.

The snarky emails continued for about a month and eventually we both agreed to sever contact altogether.

We are both g*y men and old enough to know better.

Why did I pick a major fight and push away someone that I was deeply affectionate with?

(We were platonic friends - he is in a very long term relationship and I didn't want to interfere with that)

I find it hard to forgive myself for pushing away someone who was special.

Why do people sabotage relationships like I did?

  1. Maybe destiny

  2. A perfect setting for love. That is how mostly love emerges and stabilises.

  3. I know girls do it as a test, like if the guy can see past her c**p and call her on it, things will get better.  Like you said - it is immature.  Anyway - he is already in a relationship so stay away!  Don't be a home wrecker
