I might be going on holiday to Faro in Portugal. Your opinions on the place?

I am 17 and this will be my first holiday alone with friends. I have a problem with my back so is it easy to get around? Are there buses going into the beach and around town? What are the best and worst things about Faro? Im not really into history so are there good shops and restaurants there? Is it an affordable place to go? So many questions lol. Thankyou for your help x x

  1. 16 is the drinking age in here, so you can get wasted all you want, about nightclubs it depends, it can be either 16 or 18, but i don't think you'll have problems getting into them. i don't really know faro, but i've been in a city near there, and it's easy to go anywhere... there's a great mall in there, about restaurants there's good ones 2, and i don't think things are really expensive, but i've got nothing to compare them to, i'm afraid i've never left portugal =\ if you're into pot, it's really easy to find buyers, and it's awesome and cheap. hope u enjoy our country!


  2. u have to be 16 for drinking and clubbing. they are not strict at all and they are very friendly. yes, to the busses thing. yes, to the restauraunts. ur gonna love the food.

  3. Portugal as a whole is brilliant.

    I have never stayed in Faro, i usually stay in Albufeira.

    Don't worry about getting served in the bars you will be alright as long as your not a k**b.

    The weather will be hotter than you've probably ever experienced in your life.

    I don't know if its too far for you to go to zoo-marine but if you get a chance you and your mates take it  because its brilliant .

    I am going to Portugal on Tuesday  and i cant wait.
