Volleyball is what I love to do. I really want to play it every year. Do you think it will be too late to sign up at my new school? I'm moving to Columbus. I'm scared it will be too late.

  1. No the rule is that you have to be in the school that your at for a year to be able to play any sports. I live around columbus and its that way at all the schools i know of so I'm guessing its that way in Columbus.

  2. I dont think it will be too late because when i went to a new school they let me play, but i wasn't n the A team since i didnt try out.

  3. the rule in Ohio is that as long as you move out of your previous school's district you can play vball at your new school.

If you are worried about not getting on the team in time. You should call the school ahead of time,(get the coach's number), inform the coach you want to play, but will not be moving until the end of the summer, and would like to tryout. You may not make the best team, if you didnt workout w/ them all summer, but they will let you tryout. & depending on your skill on tryout days you can make the team.

    Good luck.:]

  4. im sure they would let you play but u might mot be on the a team...plus you could always play rec v-ball
