I might be moving in the middle of highschool, is it all that bad?

I need advice or i need to know if you've gone through this too and if its all that bad.

Been there, done that.

Went from an inner-city school to one waaaayyy out in the boonies when we moved... I was bussed 45 minutes each way.

The main thing I discovered was the hick small-town culture of this school made any kid not native to the area a good source for amusement. I was used to a school environment where nobody cared what you did or anything else, and everyone at this new school was a busybody (but still didn't care about anyone).

Looking back, I should have seen that it was a good opportunity to reinvent myself.

I moved from California to Wisconsin in the middle of high school. Then, in the middle of my senior year I moved back. It's really not a big deal if you don't have trouble making friends. It's just high school.
