  1. go to doctor

try a couple more tests maybe

  2. Okay this has always worked for me. If your periods are regular every month, then the best day to conceive would have been 13 -15 days from the FIRST DAY of your last period. If you had intercourse during the those dates you most likely are

    Example

Last periods first day is June 21 then the days to conceive would be July 3 - July 6

Good luck with everything, hope this was helpful.

  3. Home pregnancy test are extremely reliable... I don't know why you don't trust them...A positive result on a home pregnancy test ALWAYS mean that you are pregnant... You can't get a false positive, on them only a false negative, which is why if it is negative and you haven't got your period, then you should retake it in a few days... Seriously if you want to avoid doctors for now, that is the most reliable way to know for sure.

Some signs are all different. There isn't one thing that is going to happen, but a bunch of different things, and even then it depends on the person... What some people experience others don't... The most obvious indicate in all females is a missed period, but after that the signs are different from person to person.

I suggest going to the drug store and getting a test. Take it, if it is positive then you are pregnant and if not, then you aren't or at least you haven't missed your period yet, because the test tests hormone levels of HCG in your urine that are only present when you are pregnant..

  4. take a test..

  5. Well try 1-900 psychic I guess. It is either a home prgnancy test, or a doctor. How do you know your b/f will marry you when you tell him he is pregnant? That is usually the relationship killer for premarital s*x couples.Tell your parents ebcause IF you are, you won't hide for very long hon and THEY need to know so they can help you, especially if your b/f does the "it  isn't mine" routine.

  6. The "signs" are all different because every woman is different, and even with the same woman, different pregnancies can affect her differently.

If you don't trust a home test, then your only other option is a doctor's office, or a testing lab. A  lot of the storefront offices that do drug tests for workers who are applying for jobs can also do a pregnancy test.

However, a home test is pretty darn reliable, especially the further you are past your period due date.  If you are more than two weeks past due, the home test should be very accurate.

EDIT:  For someone who is so untrusting, you sure did trust a guy enough to get you up the stick. You don't want to go to a doctor, you don't want to take a home test, you don't want to go to a lab. What else is left?  I guess you could take a dead cat and swing it over your head three times by the light the new moon and then read your fortune in tea leaves -- that's about the only thing left to you.

  7. A home test is just as reliable as an office test according to my doctor.  The only test that is better is a b,ood test.  So just go get one.  If you're unsure of the result, take another one.  If they both come back the same, then you can assume the result is correct.  However, it takes about 6 weeks after the intercourse to show up on a pee test.

  8. I don't really know why you don't trust a pregnancy test. After a missed period they are about 99% accurate. I would just take a cheap one.

Symptoms for me were: tired alot, my body just felt different, didn't get any period symptoms (stomach craps and lower back pain) and I missed my period which is always on time.

Another option would be to go to a planned parenthood and get a test done. They are completly confidental. But just to let you know they (and a Dr. for that matter) will give you the exact same test at the store. So I would just get a cheap pee test.

    Good luck!

  9. Its gonna hurt like h**l when you have to push out a baby out of your vage.

  10. Okay so let me get this straight?

You think you're pregnant, but you don't wanna take a home pregnancy test because you don't trust them? And you don't wanna go to the doctors because you're afraid they won't keep it confidential and you don't want your parents to find out? real smart...

Honey, sooner or later your parents have to find out...It's not like you can just forget about it if you are pregnant...

Speaking from experience, you need to take some kind of pregnancy test...It seems as though you are too irresponsible to raise a child, since you don't trust anything...

Come on now...How the h**l else are you going to find out if you're pregnant or not??

give me thumbs down see if I care. You all know it's the truth...

  11. Honestly trust a home pregnancy test they have always been one hundred percent accurate for me.When you go to your obgyn the pretty much use the same kind of test that you would use in a take home test. Other wise have a blood test taken. But honestly go to a pharmacy take home test work great!

  12. There is no way around testing... you have to test.  If you are pregnant at 17 you will need all the support and help you can get.  You need to first get a pregnancy test.  If you are a week overdue it should be accurate.  You should be at least 12 days past ovulation at that point.

Since we know that it takes 7-10 days for the fertilized egg (baby) implant in your uterus and then another few days for your body to produce enough hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) to show up in your urine you can be pretty sure that at about 12-16 days past ovulation you will get an accurate reading.  hCG (the pregnancy hormone can double in your body every day to every few days (it depends on the woman).

That is the only thing that the tests look for.  If you take the test first thing in the morning (because that's when your urine is most concentrated) and read it in the first 10 minutes at the latest... and you get a positive you can be pretty sure that you are pregnant.  Sometimes there are what are called evaporation lines making women think the test is positive.  Those are cases where they did not follow the directions and read the test after the 10 minutes.  Not a true positive.  Sometimes your body does not have enough hCG to get a positive.  The tests are very accurate and if you get a sensitive one you are better off.  They show the sensitivity level on the bottom of the box like  "detects 25 mIU/mL of hCG"  The dollar store ones are pretty good.. the lower the number the better.  First Response is at the same level as the doctor office detecting 20 mlU/mL of hCG.  It's more spendy but worth it if you feel that the results are wrong.  Of course a blood test can detect even earlier.  Some doctor's boast at being able to tell at 7 days past ovulation.

Here is a link that has some more info and a free testing center locate.  http://www.americanpregnancy.org/members...

The rest of the website has some great info as well.

You do need to let your parents know though.  Seriously you will need help.  Trust me.

Best of luck and blessings :)
