Today three Australian (diggers) were injured by a roadside bomb. One was seriously injured. The defence minister Joel Fitzgibbon said that all of the injured soldiers would make a full recovery and return to their duties.

Does this mean they did not lose any limbs.Stupid question i know but i'm thinking maybe one of them had lost an eye or something.

  1. why ask this question twice.... do you think the answers will be different

  2. WAR IS BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. this is not a stupid Question

  4. it means that their injuries won't affect their ability to fight another day after they recover.

  5. "Full recovery' means they were not injured seriously enough to limit their ability to heal and again eventually perform their assigned mission..... the loss of an eye would impair them..... they could suffer injuries as trivial as cuts and scratches.....or as serious as a broken arm which will heal.....  my guess is they got cut up pretty badly but are expected to heal physically....

  6. if you lose an eye, limb or are otherwise permanently handicapped, you cannot return to service immediately if ever. Most times people get a medical discharge. I have heard of some soldiers losing legs and re enlististing. One double amputee (both legs) even went on to continue his paratrooper career. Unfortunatly, you cannot re enlist as an infantry man if this happens to you.
