I might buy a small lot to have a small house build what is the cost to build a 1000. foot house..?

I have to figure out if this is the best way to go. as the lot would cost me at least 125.000 if i can get it for that. i do not need anything fancy. but the house on the lot now needs to be removed. old little cottage.wood. This is Canada ontario.

The priced really depends on what you are going to build. the best place to start is for you to sketch what you think you want, then take that to a designer for a blueprint to be made.

From that blueprint you can then meet with contractors for their bids. They will bid according to square footage, electrical, plumbing, special considerations. From those bids you will be able to see where yo can make changes to meet your budget.
