what's the difference between unsubsidized and subsidized?? which is better and why?

  2. subsidized means that you must pay everything after you graduate, unsubsidized.. you pay while you're enrolled in school.

    i think subsidized is better because you will have time to pay them back when youre done school. unless that is, youre sure that youll be able to pay it while youre in school.

    theres the stafford loan that lends a maximum amount of 3500 a year, which many gets approved for. and if you need more.. there are programs that lend out private loans such as Wachovia, PNC, and Discover student loans.
