  1. Well depending on how you've been academically over the years you could apply for west point and play college hockey for the army.

  2. None. Hockey is not an MOS.

  3. Join the Navy and get yourself stationed to McMurdo in the Antarctic.  Ice hockey there is among the biggest recreation activities. They often play against the Russian, Chilean, Argentine, Norweigean, Swedish, Japanese and a few other teams in the area. Year round too. They put the lights on in the winter.. Dress warm though. 65 below is pretty common. And believe it has hit about 100 below on occasion.

Now the bummer. Mail only comes in about once a month. Though most else is available. Even a girl in a bikini behind every igloo.

If you join the Navy and get carrier duty, they do play deck hockey as well as deck, soccer, deck footfall, deck baseball (got to watch it there. They get pissed if you hit a homer off the deck. Well a long pass off the deck with a football is bad too as they have only a limited supply of equipment. Fun to shoot skeet as well. Even have known of some motorcycle and atv races.

  4. I take it that goos was a typo...

There are a lot of good Navy schools, but none play hockey. I can't think of any hockey rinks near where I've been stationed, but I never looked either.

If you get stationed on the East Coast or Chicago you might be able to find ice rinks for your off time.

I don't think any branch plays hockey, unless it is a group of guys who get together on their own after duty. If you like to play hockey they wont stop you.

  5. English first.... them join.
