I miss Argentina, what can I do?

I visited a friend in Argentina a year ago, and I miss it all the time. It makes me really sad :(

Can anyone think of something Argentina-y that I can get in Florida? Like a food or a product? Or a novela that comes on U.S. TV or a concert that is coming to my area?

There are lots of Argentinians living in Florida, especially Miami, so you can try and contact them. I´m sure there must be shows from Argentinian performers in Miami too, and there´s an Argentine restaurant where you can have some asado. You will also find dulce de leche and yerba mate at some stores.

Hi! I was born in Argentina but lived in Australia for almost 24 years! and I know what you mean.  I don't exactly know what Argentinian products you could get in Florida, all I can suggest to bring back a little bit of Argentina to your home is to buy 'dulce de leche', 'alfajores'. There should be some shops that sell these kind of products and many more. Good luck.

I live in Argentina =]

You can drink mate, eat Argentinian meat, listen/dance tango, watch Argies playing sports... but I recommend you not to watch Argentinian novelas since they are quite bad. Mexicans are the kings of novelas =P
