I miss my SIMS... stupid Vista...?

Question

Does anyone know of a patch or anything that can be used to fix the SIMS original problem when you try to play it on a Vista Windows format? Or do I have to settle for SIMS 2?

you probably have to do sims 2

vista is real g*y sometimes get the sims for ps2 i guess

Have you tried setting the program to run in compatibility mode with Windows XP?

Install Virtual PC -- you can run XP or Windows 98 or whatever OS SIMS needs.  Virtual PC is free from Microsoft -- search for it on their website.

lol noobs i got vista downloaded the patches playing sims on my pc with vista. visata is not g*y stop being cheap and update ur hardware to be up to date with ur hardware. when xp came out booo wahh xp is g*y now few yrs later xp is awesome wth u complain bout microsoft bout their os wth then go to mac then u wont be able to play sims bak to square 1 just update the software and hardware should have no probelms

Vsta is now for the future xp is the past look forward to the future or be lost in the past with xp

Settle for sims 2... or wait until sims 3 comes out. The sims 2 is a lot more fun though, i like it better then just the sims.

Think you have to settle for sims 2, i havent seen a patch or anything. It just happened to be that vista didnt have support for the old sims, and nothing has been done it about it. I suggest just to stick to the sims 2 . :)
