When I was 9 my mom had my sister to my step dad he was abusive and would throw punches at me and my mom. He actually hit my mother with his car when we were leaving. So my sister came out and is now 9 but I had another sister a year after that that died right after birth. They broke up a couple years after that. As I got older I decided to move in my father at 14. I miss my sister so much because I only see her once a week. I think about my deceased sister everyday and wish that would never have happened when I was younger my step father had pinned her death on me to the point where I had to go to counseling. I just wish that this never would have happened and I would have my sister two days after I lost my sister I lost my uncle that lived with my dad He was one of my best friends I had. Please give me some advice thanks

  1. wow thats really tough. im so sorry. but you need to stop thinking that it was somehow your fault. non of that was your fault at all. i think you need to sit down with your mom and talk about all of this. it seems like you are keeping your feelings inside, when you need to let them all out.

good luck, and remember, it wasn't your fault.

oh and how old are you now?

i emailed you on your notredame email one.

  2. I'm truly sorry that this tragic thing had to happen to you at such a young age.   Just reading this has taught me to value all the important people in my life regardless of the fact that we may never see each other.  Obviously your sister means a lot you because of all the things you have been through and it hurts you that you cannot see her as much as you like.  What I would suggest that you do is try to make time to see her as often as you can, but be sure that it fits your schedule.  If you can't do that then just call her and let her know that you miss her and love her.

Your sisters death is not your fault.  He obviously doesn't know how to deal with the fact that he has caused so much hurt to you, your family, as well as himself.  I think that your going to counseling was a good idea
