I take an 65mg of Iron, 1mg of Folic Acid, 10mg of Famotidine, and 81mg of Aspirin. I usually take it at night before I go to bed, but last night I fell asleep on the couch and woke up at 6am and realized I hadn't taken it.

I took it right away, but my question is - should I take it again tonight, or do I have to always take it in the morning now?

  1. all your medications may be taken at the regular prescribed time. take them tonight :)

don't forget to take them regularly though. :)

  2. Take them tonight as you usually do.That's standard procedure in hospitals, and what your doctor or pharmacist would advice.

  3. Just go back to taking it at your regular time.  Everything will be OK.

  4. If any of the tablets are time released then wait until the morning if they are not you will be fine taking them tonight.

  5. Generally if you miss a dose you leave it until the next dose thereby skipping a dose.

I would take the dose as normal personally..... BUT........ Because I don't know what these medications are I'd suggest you speak to your Chemist about it ASAP or even just call your doctors clinic and the nurse or receptionist should be able to tell you what to do.

  6. it makes no odds. Take it again tonight. Its pretty low tech meds really : Iron and folic acid for your blood, famotidine for your stomach and to protect against aspirin, aspirin for the prevention of heart attacks. Just make sure your iron doesn't interfere with your other meds if you have morning meds too...it'll say so on the prescription label.

what your on is relatively minor stuff as medicines go though so I wouldn't worry. For instance, your aspirin dose would work for 3 days!

  7. the medicine ur taking is considered as a suppliment and this is prescribed u as a dietary supplement and missing one time doesn't have any serious problems
