May be the pregnancy test is false negative, i have heard that if i take micrgynon (OCP) 4 at a time and repeat after 12 hrs i will get my periods. is this true? is there any other method to bring the regular cycle back. thanks

  1. you could be pregnant. the test could be false a test will not show up positive until 5-6 weeks along and u still can bleed within that time frame and still be pregnant as its happened to me so keep an eye out and test again..

you could get a blood test if you wanted to but thats up to you..

maybe ur not pregnant not saying you are but theres a chance you could be frm what u have explained.. hope things work out take care

  2. When you are dehydrated or somewhat malnourished this can also delay your period. Make sure you are drinking enough fluids and getting enough nutrients in. It is not safe to take more OCP's than are normally prescribed because it contains hormones which can throw your whole system off and also has bad side effects such as nausea, vomiting, headaches, depression, fibroids, and weight gain..etc.I would say do another pregnancy test if it is negative again and you still don't get your period see your GYN asap. Because you can be pregnant even if  you test negative or it can be an underlining condition. If you are not pregnant, you should discuss with your GYN about YAZ birth control pill and also use safer s*x practices if you are not ready to get pregnant now..better safe than sorry.
