  1. No they did not, because the defense played very bad.  Illinois moved the ball on them at will in the second half.

  2. lol they got 44 points or so put on them if thats a top ten ten team then u live in elmos world where football dosent mean **** peen state played like a top ten team

  3. Offensively, they were very impressive. But, their defense gave up over 450 passing yards to juice williams.

  4. Chase Daniel went 26 for 43 and threw for 314 yards and 3 touchdowns...but their defense needs work, they allowed 42 points [in all fairness one of Illinois touchdowns was an interception.]

  5. Neither team played up to their ranking. But then. It's only the first game. Defensive work needs to be done. Mizzou and Illinois. Neither one could stop the other. The 5 QB sacks and the 2 INT's by Missouri I Think.. were a big deciding factor. Their defense did shine a bit more than Illinois did when they needed it the most. Both team will learn from this game and hopefully stop the leaks in the defense.

  6. They're offense played like a top 7 team, but there defense was horrendous, they couldn't get Juice Williams off the field and the secondary had issues which led to wide open LONG passes.

  7. they were unstoppable. im an illinois fan tho, so i hate dem, lol.

  8. yes considering they played the great illini

  9. I agree with everyone else. Their offense played well but the defense needs some work. The way they played won't cut the mustard against KU, UT, TTU,or OU. Luckily they got a win and can fix their problems.

    hook em

BTW- a BCS school should look like a top 10 team against the like of coastal carolina?
