I mistakenly plugged in my phone unit into 220 volt socket (insted of 110 volts). Help!?

Now my unit won't switch on at all. Here's a photo link of my phones (the base unit is not in the photo) :

  2. what you are saying you did is kind of impossible, as the outlet for 110 and 220 are diffrent to prevent such things.. unless your electrician is a complete idiot...

    but if for some reason you have 220 going into a 110 outlet, or for whatever reason, you felt the need to get some kind of adapter to connect your phone to the wrong type of outlet, then it is very likely you fried the transformer (wall wart) or the phone base itself... I would start by seeing if another wall wart transformer would work, you can check radioshack for the proper output voltage and amps for your phone...

  3. There's a chance that only the base adaptor got damaged. You may try to get a new adaptor. See if the base is still working.
