I mistakinly put a lock on my t.v?

it wasnt like the child lock that my parents did. i was just watching as i always do and the screen just turned blue with a red lock sign and now i dont know how to get it off. i tried turning it off for hours the same thing happend . and the t.v itself wont turn on not use-ing the remote. so please help my t.v is a jensen.

Oh boy you may not be able to fix it depending on the tv i had this problem and they wanted me to buy a new remote for 30$ so i threw ou t the tv 380$ one too less then 3 yrs old

press and hold the display button on the remote for more than 5 seconds. that should reset it.
