I poured a little fabric softener with laundry detergent because I (at first) didn't know it was softener. Will this s***w up the only two pairs of jeans I'm washing?

Help!

  1. The fabric softener will get rinsed out with the detergent, there should be no harm done. If you care to add fabric softener to the rinse water there is usually a place to add it, and it will release it at rinse time, and your jeans may become softer, if you wish.

  2. No, shouldn't hurt anything.

  3. no its really not a big deal

  4. no its fine

  5. no they will be fine

  6. I wouldn't think but don't trust me.

  7. nope you should be fine. there's usually a slot in your machine for the softener to go into but it's no biggie if you poured it directly in.

  8. nah, it'll be fine. it's just like shampoo & conditioner in one.

  9. No... just rewash them.

  10. It will not hurt your jeans, but the reason you are not supposed to add fabric softener in the wash cycle with detergent is because the softener mixed with detergent causes the soap to  not work properly. They are not to be mixed together if you are trying to get your clothes clean. So although nothing bad will happen to your clothes when you do this they are not getting cleaned properly. So you may want to rewash and only add the detergent. Add the fabric softener in the fabric softener compartment on your washer so it's added on the final rinse when it's supposed to. :o)

  11. nah you'll be fine, I used to do it all the time. My washer now has you put them in there own little slots and releases it on its own. Bless technology!

  12. It shouldn't as long as they were well mixed in water before you put the jeans in.

  13. If it was only a little bit, it will probably not s***w up your jeans.   You might try to run one or two extra rinse cycles just in case, to make sure they get rinsed out really good.  You should be fine though.  Good luck!

  14. i don't think so the worst thing that could happen is your clothes will be clean and soft lol

  15. as long as it did not get directly on the clothing you should be ok.... get a downy ball to keep it from happening again
