  1. h**l YES

  2. What's this, WWE vs UFC?

    Answer, yes.

Most of the flashy stuff you see in WWE has little efficiency in an MMA environment. It's pretty obvious that most wrestling on TV is fake, in the sense that only an idiot preps himself up for Rey Mysterio's "619".

Whilst MMA on the other hand, is a bit more practical.

  3. Oh come on. WWE vs. UFC? MM artists vs. Choreographed, bodybuilding wrestlers? Of course UFC is going to win.

  4. maybe big show just cause he's huge.  but probably no even if they have a background in ACTUAL wrestling before they went to WWE.  UFC fighters are so much more dynamic.  Most of them know Ju Jitsu, wrestling, muay thai kickboxing and boxing.  So even a WWE star with a good college wrestling back ground like say shelton benjamin.  would have to train in ju jitsu and some kind of striking art for a couple of years 1st.  Just look at Brock Lesnar.

  5. It all depends on who is fighting who.

  6. He's a little old now, but I do think Kurt Angle may have a chance, if only because of his wrestling prowess.  He has hinted before that he might like to give it a try, and it would be interesting to see if he could add the necessary tools to compliment his wrestling skills.

But in reality, no.  Wrestlers have dedicated themselves to a different kind of sport, and it takes years of dedication to succeed in mma, just like it took years of dedication for them to succeed in wrestling.  You can't make an instant transition from one to the other.  Although it would obviously, and history has proven this to be so, be easier to jump from MMA to wrestling.

  7. The wrestling abilities of Shelton Benjiman and Charlie Hass would have a decent chance against some low level ufc guys, not championship fighters, after a couple of months training. There are also wrestlers that have extensive martial arts training. How many profesional wrestlers would pass the drugs screening though and be allowed to keep their purse and fight again?

I don't think Kurt Angle could compete though, his body is too broken down.

  8. He's asking if you think any wrestlers can beat any UFC fighters and you're answering "yes" and then making a counter argument that proves otherwise.  My short answer to this is maybe-there are probably some wrestlers out there who have some real martial art skills.  I'm not making an argument for wrestling not being "staged" and UFC being the real deal-I think that's quite obvious.  But one can't assume that every pro wrestler will get beat in a fight by any UFC fighter.  I think though it's safe to assume that if you were to match up 10 of these guys, 9 out of 10 victors would be the UFC fighters
