I must obtain a copy of my W2 for 1996 from MCI Worldcom Telecommunication that WAS located in Linticum,Md

I used to work for MCI Telecommunication in Linticum Md in 1996. The IRS is saying I did not file my MD state taxes & I still owe.I need to know how to obtain a W2 from this company that's no longer located in Linticum,Maryland so that I can file state taxes for that year

hmmmm....IRS only goes back a something like 5 or 7 years.....you're talking 12 years...and the IRS wouldn't give a c**p if you filed state taxes or not, they only want your federal taxes.....are you sure you're talking to legit folks about this?
