  1. i like walter and we will give him a chance...he's not magic he needs money to build a team..murray is not playing fair with him..we will see how the season spans out.....the fans who are calling for his head can all p**s off and support another team...thats not the rangers way..lol

  2. I think he is a bit past it. He should have stayed in the Scotland job.

  3. he is a good manager and we can compete for the title.  europe was a disappointment, no excuses not having our stars playing but there should be a healthy selection of players willing to jump at the chance of proving themselves on the main stage.

one match isnt going to make me jump on the walter gtf bandwagon (though i admit i said it earlier while raging).

  4. i think he has major probs with no bazza and cuellar.it is abject failure tonight.dunno where he goes from here

  5. Gutted by the result but it's not the first time a team has had a blow at the start of the season and went on to be successful.  I have faith in Walter Smith to deliver the goods with Rangers this season.

Think of the start Strachan had V Artmedia ?

  6. should have gave plg a proper chance, their bigoted ways has cost them dearly

  7. what choice do we have ?  rangers rode there luck last year,to get to manchester , but not sure going round signing centre half's all the time is the way ahead . he never replaced hutton , never got a left back ether, why was Barry's op left till the start of the season ?? rangers got a big lesson on saturday against liverpool and they  look very very poor , they are stop start , no pass  and move football , on the deck , am sorry but walter not the man , he is to negative , like when he was in charge of scotland , not good to watch,  he can defend ,but not put an attacking team on the park

  8. one game @ a time.. WE have a back~up manager unlike the tims

  9. Why is that?? what has he actually achieved on his own?? ....... NOTHING ... and tonight proved he's a useless ponce. Hahaha!

  10. Walt is a great Manager and needs to prove nothing, just feel not been given the tools if you follow. I wonder what he could achieve in his second spell if he had been granted what d**k Advocaat had 70 million. We all know its never going to happen again but I think he would be untouchable, given his stature in the game and the dough to provide players he clearly wants to pursue and sign but is not allowed to.

  11. He's a safe pair of hands, nothing more. No imagination, no plan b or c when it goes against him, however he was just what Rangers needed last season, but canny take them any further. Must say he's a decent guy though

  12. I am not a Rangers fan but Walter Smith MUST stay. I am sure there are fair weather Rangers fans who demand success instantly and without it, they will call for the head of the man whose decisions have put them in the grubber. Well Rangers FC can't afford to sack a manager and then appoint a new guy and give him money to spend. So it's the old cardigan Watty who stumbles on as the fans 'follow follow' him into desperate times.

  13. you never know(but then again neither does he)makes you feel proud dont it hahaha
