  1. They would be solitary play, parallel play, and cooperative play.  You would need to set up situations for each type of play.  I think each one is self-explanatory, so think about what you have been learning in your program, and apply it to each of these stages.  This site gives a little information.  If you do a search for each stage, you should get more information.  Best of luck with it.

  2. You need to spend more time perfecting your communication skills before you can take on the responsibility of caring for children.

  3. Solitary, Parallel, Associative and Co-operative.

Children in this age group will demonstrate many of these categories.

Solitary- provide quiet areas, e.g. reading area, where children can go to be 'alone'

Parallel- Have areas where there is more than one item, but where children can play alongside one another. e.g 2 or more places at the playdough table, each with a cutter, a rolling pin, a ball of playdough

Associative- This is where children play together, but not to a set of rules, e.g building with blocks- children talk together, but don't assign roles, etc

Co-operative- most common in home corner, where roles are assigned, and children play to 'rules'
