  2. There is a book called Barkers Grub by Rudy Edalati . She has great recipes and very simple. She even gives approximate amounts to feed your dog by weight. There is also recipes for vitamin supplements. Great book.

  3. You can make it out of dry eggs in a package very cheap mix them with milk and warm them up till they look like eggs they LOVE it i fed my puppies that till they could eat hard food looooved it! Instants Potatoes and eggs work to just do they same thing you can warm up the food in a microwave.

  4. Look into feeding raw. work wonders by tom lonsdale is a great book about feeding raw, but there are many internet sites about it as well.

For raw feeding you fed 2 to 3 percent of the dogs adult body weight. Basically for a pup, you will feed it the same amount as you would if it was an adult. For your dog it would be around 2 to 3 lbs a day.

dr. pitcarins book is another book with recipes in it, but it still advocates feeding raw meat whenever possible.

here are a few site to help you:

    www.rawmeatybones.com

    www.rawlearning.com

    www.rawfed.com/myths

    www.bigdogsporch.com

You could also feed Evo, Taste of the wild, blue wilderness, Wellness core, and other grain free dog foods.

For your sister, if she wants to feed raw she would feed 18 to 27 ounces.

    Percentages vary, but I feed 80%muscle meat, 10%bone, and 10% organs(liver)
