I would use Delta, because they're cheapest currently on this route $173 r/t total each ticket, plus they've got a nonstop flight between SLC and ONT.  http://www.delta.com  It was on sale about $40 less back on Aug. 5, so if you've got more than a month before this trip, wouldn't hurt to sign up for sale alerts at http://www.farecompare.com -- but looks like this $173 fare needs at least 14 days advance purchase, so just be sure to book at least that far ahead.
