Ali is absolutely correct. MSF is your best choice. Plus, when you complete that course, you will get a certificate. Take that certificate to the DMV, take a written test and you will get your M1 license. (Taking the course let's you skip the riding portion of the test at the DMV).  Good luck and enjoy!

just go to a empty parking lot and practice using the clutch and everything else maybe have a budding help you u don't need a teacher

Take the MSF Basic Rider course they will train you. The class in Los Angeles is on West Pico at the Landmark Theater. You can also take it in Woodland Hills, Long Beach or Norwalk. Go to this link and search on your zip to get the closest class and more info

but practice in a wide open place like a paking lot or somthing to get stared. dont waste money on lessons from some idiot teaching how to ride. find someone you know to help you learn. good luck.
