I need 2 learn the basics of football by 2morrow!?

Question

Ok well my school does a flag football thing and i joined 2 prove that im not all girly (which i am ;P) but anyway we start the games TOMORROW! and i dont know much about football...

if someone could help plz! i only need to know enough to know wat ppl r talking about, just the basics!

Sorry this answer is late, but ah well...

Football is a simple and wonderful sport. The basic idea is that each team has two teams, offense and defense. There are four quarters in a game, in which the goal switches from side to side of the football feild, like in soccer halftime. The teams also switch out whichever team they are using. If the offense team is playing, they are trying to run the ball from one side of the feild to the other, where their goal is, and the defense team of the OTHER team is trying to stop them by jumping on top of them, etc.... if the team throws their ball past the line, they get five points (i think...or is it six?) And then they have a chance to throw it, again, into the 'goal' in between the two posts for an additional point.

It goes exactly like this only vice-versa if the other team has defense, and this team has offense, and these are the basic rules of football :)

Now other complications- fouls, etc., can be explained to ytou by the nearest cute guy ;-)
