  1. thats not wierd...just ask your husband..he may not even know how to check it and ur dad probably does..

and does ur husband even know you want him to check it once a month?

like come on..its not wierd.ur husband isnt your father..u married him for different reasons..not because he doents check oil and water in ur car..give the guy a break

  2. Lol, I saw your questions the other day and I don't remember who it was but you are driving some poor guy on here crazy with your "my dad checking my mom's oil" questions! Why do you ask only this question over and over and over again?

  3. It is not weird...it is called "not caring". I envy your mom for having such a caring husband.

  4. It's not werid but, i keep my car up myself unless something real strange happens then i ask my nubby to take a look.

  5. theres nothing wrong with your husband not checking your oil as long as he is providing for you in other ways. you can't expect your husband to be the same as your dad. I understand that this may symbolize to you what a "man" does but realize that your husband may not value that as much as you do, just as he may value something that you don't care for as much.

  6. if this is something you want, have you clearly communicated this with your husband? or are you expecting him read your mind?

yes it seems as though he should know to do this on his own, however make it clear that this is what you would like to have done and go from there...

your husband and your dad are 2 different people, learn to look at your husband for the individual he is and stop comparing him to dad!

  7. I think you should learn how to do it yourself!!

  8. maybe he goes to jiffy lube

  9. It's really not that hard. Maybe mom should try it. She'll feel better about the car and herself.

  10. I am the one checking in this house.  My husband works hard, looonnggg hours so I need to keep things running.  He will still help if I need it though.

  11. Honestly......

It's a good thing for you to know how and where to check those things. Being familiar with your car can save a lot of stress on your part in the future.

If fact, the more you know about how things should be under the hood the more likely you'll be able to notice something before it becomes catistofic. Openning up the hood isn't lots of fun but it really is in your best interest.

Besides, when he sees you under the hood you'll get 100% of his attention!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. No, you need to find 5 more questions to ask. You have worn the Dejesus out of this one.
