I need $780 by the 2nd what can I do???

Question

Ok I am 18 and my boyfriend and I just got an apartment so we could live by our schools. To get to the point our rent is due. I just got out of the hospital from having surgery so I cant work or anything and my boyfriend has been looking for a job but so far has been unsuccessful. To get to the point we need to come up with the rent or we are going to loose the apartment. I dont know what to do. We have tried student loans and borrowing it. So far we have been unsuccessfull. Any ideas? Please be serious this is very important.

Do either of you have any family members who would let you borrow the money?  If you receive student loans in the fall, and have any left over, then you could promise to pay them back when you get your refund.  I had to do this recently, and my mom didn't have any problem helping me since she knew I would have the money to repay in soon.  If you can't get a loan from a family member, try a friend.  Last alternative would be to pawn something.

Not to sound preachy because I have been in this situation and have learned from it.... you should have waited a month or so to move in so you had the right funds and both had jobs!

What about parents? Can you borrow from them? or his parents? Friends?

Do you have anything to sell -- like clothes, jewelry, electronics?

Can you talk to the landlord for an extension, maybe if they new the situation they'd understand...

I can't think of anything else....

i kno exactly how u feel,but only thing i can think of is trying out for online jobs they can pay really well and u dont have to leave your home i have one and i was able to work with a broken leg ;D

First thing call your landlord and explain the situation. They will be far more understanding if you explain prior than trying to tell why you are late. Do you belong to a church that can help? Some times salvation army   can help  a bit. Do you have any thing you can sell.What about a payday loan ( only do this as a last resort) Is there any family ..remember  little bits from many people may be easier than a large sum from one. Donate plasma...sounds  yucky but it save lives ( and gets you cash)!! Do you have a deposit comming from the last place you lived? Good luck..in the future please try to set aside a little extra each  omnth so that you dont find your self in this position again. Hang in there?? We have all made it thru these kind of things!!!

maybe you should go the local food stores and apply there. and ask family members if they can help you out.
