I just got an ipod touch. My Husband already had an ipod. We only have 1 computer. He already downloaded itunes and I tried creating my own account and now all of HIS songs are in MY account. I no longer see his account.

Can't we both have our own account? (Its 2 different device's!)

Can we share music? If I just load my songs on his, can I input them in my device too even though they are already on his? Cause I am thinking if we can do that, I we wont have to worry about having 2 accounts. We are not buying another computer!

  1. You need to set up another User account for yourself in Windows. Then install itunes on it.This will keep the libraries separate.

  2. yes you should be able to this. Just connect the device and it should say set up iPod. Name it and then your off. Also if you don't like some of the music he likes then when your about to sync scroll down on your iPod about section on iTunes and click sync only checked. Now uncheck all songs that you don't want from there and then click on your iPod and click apply then sync.

    I think that's about it

    Good Luck

P.S. I own an iPod Touch and they are great so look after it and don't waste it. Spoil it by buying it quality cases and screen protectors else it will end up like mine. Battered and scratched and it even went for a swim when it fell out of my pocket. So look after it!

  3. yer you can sync both devices on one pc, i use 2 ipod nanos on the same pc and same account, but im hopefully getting either and ipod touch or even better an iphone
