My fiance and I have been engaged for a month, we are both dedicated Christians and decided to set the date for Nov 29th of this year. He told me that he knew without a doubt that I was the one he wanted to marry. Now recently he told me he was having doubts and worries about knowing for sure this is what he wants to do. He told me he has 3 fears and they are that he might mess up, that we will disagree a lot, and that he doesn't want to go through that stage of discontent after we are married. We have scheduled Christian marriage counseling before we get married and have not started them yet. When he told me he was having doubts I freaked out and am worried he will leave me. How normal is it for a guy to worry about this?

  1. Marriage counseling sounds like a good idea. Perhaps tell him that he should look to the past to evaluate your relationship, and if he's satisfied with how it's been so far, God will lead you both to happiness.
