I have just got Clomid and was wondering what does it do? Does it help you fall pregnant???

How long until it helps you get pregnant? etc, please help

You need to ask the doctor who prescribed it for you about this, because it depends on the dose and which schedule you're on. I'm sure you DID get a prescription, right? Because if you take Clomid and you're ovulating normally, you could get Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome which is where your normal ovulation gets super-pumped by the medication. This can be fatal (rarely) and also can lead to infertility. It's not worth it!

im in the uk so i dont know whether its a usa thing, and im hoping i dont sound silly here but whats clomid???
