I need Fundraising Ideas for a Mission Trip I am going on???? Ideas???

So I am going to Brazil this summer and I need Ideas for fundraising!!! I have thought about doing Fashion Show and thats all I got!!! I leave in 2009 but I still need to start getting money!!!!

Creative and Fun ideas please!!!!!

there is the obveouse dinners/car washes/asking for donations.  there are scolarships out there, but try a silent auction.  You can usually get things to be autiond for free if you ask local businesses

I'm going on a mission trip this summer and my church has held popcorn sales (like caramel, cheesy, etc.) people really liked that. We also sold handmade quilts for pretty good prices. You could also hold a talent show w/ admissions (ex. $5 per person, and baked goods ~$2.50 each, that type of thing). You could also hold a fundraising dinner with foods from Brazil (like brigadeiro, pan de queso, feijoada, etc.). food preparation can be cheap and the course dinner could be priced at $15 per person or something.
