Question

Look. I bought this cooler (Made by Gamestop) and it clearly states "Will replace 360 if the cooler does any harm to system"

I recently got the red-ring and it wasn't because of the cooler i think, but I was thinking about lieing and tell Gamestop that your cooler gave me red-ring. The bad part about this though is I threw away my receipt..

What should I do?

at this point... since you lost the receipt I would just send it in to Microsoft and have them fix it.  But I guess it is possible for them to look it up...

if they replaced it I doubt they would give you a new one... and who knows how long it would take for it to be replaced.  Just send it in.

Well, you could just exchange your 360.

But if you kept the box from the cooler, you can just explain what happened.

At gamespot they normally take your name.

Or is that just me?

Other than that you can't do anything about it rather then sending it through Microsoft, and waiting a month. :|

oh back to the question nah they would find out your lieing anyways, plus you dont even have the receipt.

but if your broke and dont care what people think about you, then march into the gamestop with the cooler and your 360 and demand to speak to a manager then MAKE A FUSS~!!!!!!!!!!

if you do a good job with that then the manager might get overwhelmed and replace your 360 or kick you out the store.but you never know until you try!!

You are better off just sending it in.  There is a much faster turn around these days.  My husband sent his out and had it back in a little over a week.  Now, when I sent mine in like a year ago it took 5 weeks to get it back.  They are much more efficient now.

i don't think you can do anything without the receipt but they may be able to exchange just tell them you bought a cooler from them and they will go back and check to see
