I need HELP! I saw an animal that looked kind of raccoon like but it was not a raccoon, what could it be??

It was brown and a light tan and had a bear like face, and i live in Southern Maryland. Hope some one can help.

it was probably a badger, ive seen a lot of fissures and had to take a few out around the cottage,  i dont think you'd mistake them

It's a fisher cat. Vicious little beast. They eat small dogs and cats. They can also swing from tree to tree. We had them in our woods in RI.
