Will it help my eyes or make them worse?

  1. Do not wear them, even if it seems to help in some ways there are other ways it could cause strain on your eyes. Just wait it out or you could cause bigger problems.

  2. I dont think you should wear them.

I'd say just wait until you go get your eyes checked yourself because when I wear my sisters glasses, I can see very clear too, but when i got my eyes checked, my perscription I got for my glasses are actually thicker than hers.

(My sister was like around 1.75-2 and mines 2.15 and 2.75 in another) >_<

  3. It depends on the Rx in the lenses.

If you NEED eyeglasses you really should get your vision checked to get an actual Rx & compare what is in the glasses. No two eyes are the same.. and the chances of her lenses being exactly right are like 1 in a billion.

Its not just the power of the lense, but also the axis, & distance between your eyes so the focal point is placed as close as possible to where you iris's naturally sit...

Wearing glasses that are NOT made for you specifically can  hurt your eyes. IT can cause them to try to focus and strain the muscles in odd ways.

Also, if you wear glasses that are too strong for you it will WEAKEN your eyes because they dont have to strain as much all the time...

If you can get by without them, do so. If you must wear them sometimes I guess thats better than nothing. But get to the eye doc as soon as you can for a proper Rx.
