I need HELP... you might know this so could you help?

im filling out a form for babysitting and it asked me if i have been CRB checked? i dont know whether to say i have or i have not? ive never been in trouble with the police.....

say you havent but you can always get one if they would like you too. Its always handy to have one to show when doing things such as babysitting/childcare etc..

If no one ever checked you before the answer will be no.

If you’ve never been in any trouble with the law you’ll be fine to let them check you now.

You will need a CRB check to work with kids.

It stands for Criminal Records Bureau. the form  can be obtained from your local police station, all you have to do is ask. If memory serves me correct it'll cost about thirty quid.

If you had, you should know about it.  You would have had to sign a form to authorize it.  Some companies will do a CRB as part of a pre-employment screen.
